The portable version is kinda short in features... (just for people with special likes).

Well, the sims bust the GBA, saddly, when they moved to this new ville they left their most of their phrases, I what I mean is that talking with people is very annoying because is like they arent listening the most time and when it is needed for a mission...
This game need a lot of your time, and some times just battery, for leveling up some of your abilities maight be bothersome, just put your sim (which isnt that custom) to read a book and wait until a bar fill, as you level up that bar will take more time to fill.
The game keep a line which can make it bad, cuz you need to beat some objectives before going to the next thing or getting more stuff, the house its custom but isnt that funny to have that many stuff that aint interactive at all.
The music gets annoying, graphics kinda bad... when I played the game I felt it good but when I beated it... I felt kinda bad and said in my mind: "what a waste" and never ever played it again.
