I have been playing consoles for about 14 years now and have seen many many great games, one of my favorite games has been the sims games where you take control of a persons life and influence what they do, job/relationships etc..etc.. I have played the sims bustin out (ps2 & xbox),the sims 2 (pc) all the sims 1 with exp's (pc) & the sims 3 (pc) but I have never felt more lost in a sims game as the sims 2 for ps2, it was a complete waste of 49.99$ that i have spent in ages, the controls are extremely hard to deal with & new live mode is pretty cool but buggy as heck & the storyline is short and the fact that if you start a freeplay game your story game gets overwritten and deleted, for this I do not recommend playing.
Gameplay: 4 / 10 - buggy with a side of fries. Music: 2 / 10 - Same old same old... replayability 8 / 10 - falls short of items,control & save ability. Overall score : 2.5 / 10.00
This is just my opinion on the game you might find that you have more fun with this game then I did but in my opinion Maxis & EA left out ALOT of what all the other sims games had, They should of released this as a beta game and not charged for it, nothing more.
