You have got to be kidding me!!
The Good: Although there are alot of cute features for this game,it really isn't that much different than the Sims 2!! Yes,holiday decorations are cute,but you can't have fun with a game if you are limited on where you can go and what you can do on a Sims game!!
The Bad: The graphics,The Graphics,The Graphics,and the fact this game or any of the other games for the PC aren't available for the PS2!! Those of us who own a PS2 would love to have more Sims games to choose from!! Why is it that there are ALWAYS brand new Sims games coming out for the PC,but NEVER for the PS2?? The last game that your company put out for the PS2 was The Sims Urbz in The City,and that game was such a joke,ALOT of people including myself were very angry and disappointed about how much that game stunk!!
The Ugly: What alot of people may not realize is that the Sims games for your PC takes up ALOT of memory on your computer,so if you want to play these games,you may encounter a few problems!! Alot of people have complained about their computers freezing up after they have downloaded a Sims PC game,and some people say their computer runs really sluggish when they are trying to play their Sims PC game!!
Please take my advice and go out and buy The Sims Bustin' Out game for the PS2!! This game lets you be so creative because YOU get to choose your characters career!! You get to create a male or female,you get to name them,and they can get married and have babies!! The Sims Bustin' Out lets you express your creative side because you can either add to a pre-existing house on the game,or you can tear the house down,and start all over with new walls,new wall paper,etc. The Sims Bustin'Out game also lets you travel to other peoples houses on the game,and you get to stay at different peoples houses as you go up the career ladder,and some houses are nicer than others!! All in all,if you are a TRUE SIMS FAN,and you are looking for a Sims game that will be ALOT OF FUN,The Sims Bustin'Out game is an excellent choice!!
I give the Sims 2 Holiday Edition 2 Thumbs down!! It is so sad too,because this game had so much potential,and it was VERY DISAPPOINTING to play!! I wish this company would have a poll on it's website that would allow Sims players to vote for things that they would like to have or not have on their future Sims games!! Your best bet is to look for this game at your bargain bin in the store,and even then you are still paying too much money for this game because it is not worth it!! *Sighs with utter disappointment* :-(
