The Sims 2: Happy Holiday Stuff

User Rating: 8.2 | The Sims 2: Happy Holiday Stuff PC
The Sims 2: Happy Holiday Stuff (known as The Sims 2: Festive Holiday Stuff in the UK) is an upcoming "stuff pack" for The Sims 2. It will be a re-release of Holiday Party Pack, however it will officially fall under the "stuff pack" line of The Sims 2 games, and will be available for sale from major video game outlets, unlike the Holiday Party Pack, which was only available for purchase exclusively via Electronic Arts's online store (in the US).
This pack was originally noted on The Sims 2 website on late September, 2006. It was also noted that a Holiday Edition was to be released simultaneously with the Happy Holiday Pack; containing the original The Sims 2 game and the Happy Holiday Stuff items in one bundle, similar to that of the The Sims 2: Holiday Edition released a year earlier.
As of October 24, 2006, EA announced a special mini version of this pack called The Sims 2: Happy Holiday Mini Pack. This mini pack is targeted specially at owners of the last years' releases of The Sims 2: Holiday Edition and Holiday Party Pack and will only include 20 new items not featured in those versions.
As the name suggests, Happy Holiday Stuff will contain holiday-themed objects mostly related towards Christmas; however, other Holidays such as Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, and New Year's Eve will be included.
It also contains all new objects not included in the Holiday Party Pack released a year earlier. Among the new items is a new theme: Chinese New Year.
