So far, we have been plagued with horrible and poor Simpson games, ranging from consoles to handhelds. With the horrid Simpsons Skateboarding and boring Simpsons Road Rage, what is next for this sitcom family? Will they be living in horrible Simpson video games forever, or is there at least one game that can compare to the classic "The Simpsons" game made by Konami well over 10 years ago. Will Simpsons Hit & Run finally be the game to compare to all the other Simpson games and say, "You all should worship me!"? There has been plenty of people around a few months ago stating that the new Simpsons game (which is Simpsons Hit & Run), will just be another horrible Simpsons game. Well, lots of people were actually believing this because all the other recent Simpson games weren't good at all. With plenty of great previews about Simpsons Hit & Run popping up, many still believe that Simpsons Hit & Run will do horrible like all the other Simpson games. Well, I can prove that to be untrue. The game, some might say, that it is a rip-off of Grand Theft Auto. Doing missions and completely objectives that seem like GTA's job. Ok, sure it is sort of a rip-off of GTA, but that doesn't mean it isn't good. In fact, Simpsons Hit & Run is probably the best Simpsons game to date. Basically, this game revolves around the single-player mode. The game gives you missions to do, and in those missions, you are given objectives to complete using your skills in the game. Some of the game's missions will be knocking things around and transporting passengers, but it doesnt have the same concept as Simpsons Road Rage. Completing your objectives will get you into the next mission, where you will control a different driver from then on. The graphics hold up for the game, so there is really no problem there. It doesn't affect the gameplay at all, so arguing about the graphics in Simpsons Hit & Run makes no sense at all. The game has great gameplay, but it doesn't live up to it's full potential. Some of the missions and objectives are a mix of fun and boredom, and mostly all of the missions are the "same" if you study it enough. Once you get through the whole game, there is nothing really left to do, giving the game a "short life span" once you finish it. The Simpsons Hit & Run does have some problems and flaws, but it makes up for some fun multi-player action and some of the fun missions that are to be completed. Simpsons Hit & Run is a great game, and definitely should be rented, but only the hardcore Simpsons fan could probably enjoy Simpsons Hit & Run to it's fullest.
