Good Expansion, plenty to do, but lacks polish.

This is a good expansion to the main game and does well with its diversity of city building with the constraints of land, resources and weather. I enjoyed the monsoon periods I thought it added a tactical element to the game that was not there in the first. Leave your troops the wrongside of a river during monsoon period and you could leave you city undefended. Anyone who was a fan of the original will get there monies worth with this expansion. My only gripe would be the lack of full motion video. The story is told around the table in your courtroom and unlike the first game there are no FMV cuts to add the polish to the game. The new character adds little as do the new buildings, the reintrioductio of the geologist from previous games in the series is welcome, although he does become expensive after a while.
