It monkey-tasticly brilliant!

Having now been able to play this on the XBLA I can honestly say it brings the fondness for point and click adventures flooding back. Having played Loom recently it was amusing to see the character in the Scumm (which the original game engine is also named) bar who was advertising it... think he had the same name as one of the characters from towards the end of the game as well.

The improvements in graphics and the great voice acting only makes the game all the more fun to play. For those who are feeling nostalgic you can also switch in the "classic" view where the screen shrinks and it goes back to looking how it used to.

If you're a fan of point and click games or the original monkey island games then you cannot miss this! It would be nice to see Full Throttle, Day of the Tentacle and some more Sam and Max games make their way to the XBLA in the near future.
