The game starts of with the defense of Helm's deep from the lotr two towers movie. You play as the wizard Gandalf and you have to kill hordes of evil orcs and similar creatures. The graphics are very nice and so are the character animations. You kill the orcs by pressing the "b" button on the controller to hack and slash with your sword. That is basically the whole gameplay. Later in the game you can also play with other characters like Aragorn, the dwarf Gimli or the elf Legolas and also the little hobbits. You visit the most exotic locations from the movie and you also have to perform some tasks like protecting a town, destroying a dam or keeping allies alive. There are also combo's you learn, when you have enough experience points and you also have long-ranged weapons. Most of the time you will be pressing the "b" button though. If you have a friend you can press the "b" button together in the co-op mode. Allthough this ia a simple concept, it works great, also because of the nice graphics.
Return of the King is actually a pretty good game and if you enjoyed the movie you will almost certainly enjoy this game, for a couple of weeks.
