An unfortunate result of a game that follows the books really well. The story is still there, the gameplay is lacking terribly. The releases for PC and Xbox were much better.
Gameplay follows Frodo and the Fellowship using turn-based battles. Bugs abound and glitches are plentiful. For example, the ending of the game cuts off and returns to the menu screen. If you are looking for a game that follows the book, buy The Fellowship of the Ring on Xbox instead,
