I am a MASSIVE Lord of the Rings fan...

... so I had to buy this game after watching my brother-in-law playing it.

The sights, the sounds, the atmosphere is all Tolkien, and the game itself is not bad.

The variety of the armies, the units themselves, the music, voices, everything is perfect from the films.

I mostly played skirmishes but found the campaign short but enjoyable.

The individuality of the 3 armies on either side (Men, Elves, Dwarves then Mordor, Saruman and Goblins) is great, with lots of sound samples from the films and powers that are earned through battle.

A great touch is being able to use a main structure as your base (or the enemies'), such as putting Saruman in Orthanc, or the Men in Minas Tirith, then trying to attack / defend your position. I have spent many a happy hour defending Helm's Deep from a variety of evil-doing troops.

I love it!
