Overall, this game is well done.Not often you see a game based on a motion picture that gets you immersed and involved.
Game play is not complex making it appeal to those who enjoy strategy games but,dont want to have to take a day or 2 to learn everything.The basic game play also works very well in making the game a more enjoyable experience,if you are a hardcore stategy gamer you may appreciate the overall game for what it is more then just the overall complexity of the gameplay.The gameplay also allows players to move along quikly in the game,even replaying lvs can be fast and enjoyable.And with a strategy game rarely playing a lv over is fun at all.
Graphic of course should inhance the gameplay and in this game they do.Not perfect but very good and you see the movie in the game which is not easy to do.Strong point of the graphics is not the characters or the environment its the ability to use the camera to see everything from every angle.Without the camera being so good in this game the graphics woudnt be nearly as impressive.
Sound in this game is good if you like the movie.
Value of the game is good if you like strategy games and it goes way up if you like the movie aswell.
Reveiwers Tilt..Not rating it high because the plot and theme is based on a movie is unfair.The game delivers as a stategy game based on Lord of the RIngs.It shouldnt have to appeal to people who dont like Lord of the Rings,but even for the people who dont enjoy LOTR they maybe able to appreciate some other strong qualities the game offers.
