Oracle of Ages is a great Zelda game with enough hard puzzles to confuse you even the 10th time you play the game.

Never heard of Oracle of Ages? Not surprised. No one thought that this would be a good game. No hype surrounded it. But, at the end of the day, it's still a Zelda game. And that's enough. Oracle of Ages is linked to Capcom's other oracle game: Oracle of Seasons, and by linking the two together, you can continue the storyline, and unlock new things.

The storyline is simple: the Oracle of Ages, Nayru (who is one of the golden goddesses from other Zelda games), is possessed by a witch named Veran. Your objective is simple: Traverse through the land of Labrynna, past and present (courtesy of Veran's time portals), collect the 8 Essences of Time, stop the Black Tower (a huge building built to honor Queen Ambi's lost husband, but Veran has other plans for it, like using it to gain unfathomable powers) from being built completely, save Nayru, and, if you are playing a linked game, stop Twinrova from reviving Ganon. Sounds easy enough.

Actually, it's not easy. Puzzles lurk in every dungeon room, and being able to move through 3 different lands (Past, Present, and Underwater) lengthens the game x3. The puzzles take about 10 minutes each in harder levels (some take up to 20) and 3 to 5 in easier levels. This game is an instant classic and will leave all Zelda fans impressed. A 10 out of 10. Even better when you link it with Seasons.
