First in a long line of handheld Zelda's

This game was one of the reasons I bought a gameboy.

I first bought this game in black/white and later the color edition.
The gameplay and graphigs are identical to the version that was a great hit on the SNES (Zelda A Link To The Past) The gameplay is good and the ingame music is recognisable for the Zelda series. The way action and puzzles are integrated in this game are really great.

The game has a great ingame help system in the form of an owl and a telephoneshop were you can make phone calls to help you on your way or provide you with hints so you know were to go next.

The levels are good in size and evere dungeon has a sub-boss at some stage which after defeat gives you a way to return to that point in the dungeon when you die.

The variety of weapons and poisons is good. You have lots of small games and task to do on the world map all giving you heartcontainers and such after completion.

This is truly one of the best Zelda's on the gameboy or maybe in the series.
