To keep it brief
- Graphics: Outstanding in every respect. Some of the best graphics in any game I have played
- Sound: Outstanding...very atmospheric and scary especially when indoors crawling around in the dark
- Gameplay: Great. Action sequences are really involving and tense. Gun play/fighting is easy to master but immensely satisfying. Sections where you have to pass/take out numerous clickers require a great deal of planning and really adds to the "struggle" of the whole situation
- Length: I completed this on normal in 14.5hrs. I was surprised at the sudden end to the game and did not see it coming. I would have liked to see more of a build-up to a finale however.
- Replay value: Normal was challenging mostly due to the lack of upgraded equipment early on. Now I know how to play properly I will at some point give it another run through on hard.
Overall: A very worthwhile way to spend 14hrs and I would go as far as to say the game is a "must-play". The hype of this game was a little over-rated in my opinion. The first 20 minutes got my expectations for the game to a level that the remainder could not maintain. In terms of sheer enjoyment I enjoyed Tomb Raider more.
