Granstream Saga
It has only cost 10$ (canadian) and I only played once with it when I was younger.
So I bought it.
For this price, it was not bad !
The scenario is quite simple : you have to save 4 floating continents before they sink in a big ocean ! You're the chosen one to do this heroic job. You'll not be alone to do this, Arcia and Laramee will "help" you in the quest.
In this game, when you fight, it's always a one-on-one fight.
You'll never recruit allies and there's only one enemy per fight.
There's no experience points at all. If you want to be stronger, you must progress in the game. Special moves are not really useful and when you do your combo move, the enemy has enough time to hit you before you hit the foe, so it's useless.
The graphics are...well...in my opinion, it doesn't matter if the graphics are not beautiful, but some people can say that they are ugly and poor. I think that they are okay. The only thing graphically fantastic are the anime scenes with voices! It is a nice part of the game.
For the music and sound effects, nothing very surprising.
The sound effects are okay, but the background music can be boring sometimes.
The replay value is low, unless you really enjoyed Granstream Saga.
No extras when you've beated the game, only 2 or 3 sidequests while you're playing
can be completed.
If you find this game somewhere it's sold at a low price and you like to play RPGs/Action RPGs, I would recommend you to buy it. Otherwise, I think it would be a waste of money.
