User Rating: 7.5 | The Garfield Show: Threat of the Space Lasagna WII
This is the first game based on the Cartoon Network series starring the fat, lazy cat known is Garfield. And this game does very well for being so. While no one has heard of this game, or knows it even exists, it's very deserving of more attention. Well, this game is a party game containing 16 fun minigames. Each minigame, 1 player plays as Garfield, and the other 3 are the Mice and occasionally, the Space Lasagna. And in the game, Garfield always goes against the 3 other players. So this is basically a co-op game, except 3 player are against 1. Now that may not sound fair, but both teams have different advantages. For example, one of the minigames involves Garfield rolling on a giant ball, while the mice avoid the ball and collect cheese, which is my favorite minigame. The game also supports the Wii Balance Board and Wiimotion Plus. I don't have Wiimotion Plus, but I have played the game with the Wii Balance Board, and let me just say, it works very well. Usually, party games aren't fun to play alone. But this game has such great computer AI and unique minigames, you won't mind playing this alone, but it's still great to play with friends. Oh, and when playing multiplayer, the game will decide which 1 player is Garfield, and which 3 players are the other team. Also, the game has a story mode where you can unlock all the minigames and hats. So overall, this is a fun multiplayer, even single player game that deserves more attention than it gets. Plus it's only a 20$ wii game too.
