Old fashion RPG/adventure with many smart puzzles and addictive battles.

I liked the title, the cover, later checked the reviews and concluded that it wasn't worth it. However my intuition spoke differently when I checked the screenshots. So I decided to try it.
It is a low budget, old fashion RPG/adventure with many smart puzzles.
The graphics are close what I call "smart graphics". It is the 2D kind of graphics that tend to lose little in detail due to the lack of freedom. That's what I still appreciate graphics-wise in classic games like Diablo, HOMM, Disciples etc. However the videos/cutscenes are a big shame. They look like a rough 3D animation homework. But I just closed my eyes and listened to the quite good, for a low-budget voice acting, which I must note is everywhere in the game no plain text messages. The game also has good music. It gives the atmosphere it deserves and does a good job not boring you. But I prefer to
lower the volume a bit.
Also it has to be noted that from the first time running the game until I finished there wasn't a glitch or any tech problem.
Now to the interesting part: Gameplay.
It is one of the most addicting titles someone can play.
You start as a young apprentice of magic and gradually develop to a strong spellcaster. It is fun to summon creatures (skeletons, golems, griffins and demons) and support them during they slay your enemies. If you don't summon (as I mostly prefer in OTHER games) you'll just end up dead. You see this young mage is as fragile as a crystal lily. He always needs a bodyguard. Surprisingly I liked that! It was like playing Magic the gathering in third person.
This game is underrated- If rated at all, it is addictive and beautiful.
If you do not want to play it for its many adventure characteristics, play it for its magic battles. It is worth your time.
