A RPG to remember......

User Rating: 8.6 | The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind XBOX
Morrowind is a truly amazing and stunning game, which is great for just about any kind of gamer, assuming you can play past the graphics.

In morrowind, you don't play a specific character. You can choose your characters gender, how they look, how they fight, and more or less how they live.

There are several ways you can play your character, and it's all up to you.You can play different from different races such as orcs, elves, and mages. And you can also play as different classes, such as warriors, theives, summoners, witch hunters, and many,MANY more.

Putting aside spoilers, the basic premise of the game states that you play a certain role, the roll of the nerevarine. As the neravarine, you have the burden put upon you to save the world of certain evils, and re-unite houses of dark elves. But when you start playing, you won't know any of this information for about a good 3 hours of gameplay.

In morrowind, you can play however you'ld like. You can live the life of an outlaw;stealing, murdering, and becoming a well-known notorious out-law all across the world....

....Or you can live the life of a soldier, fighting off dangerous creatures, and assisting others.

Regardless of how you play, the game will not by any chance dissapoint you,you can spent hundreds of hours playing this game, and although at times it's tedious,it is rewarding.

There are millions of AI controlled characters across the world of morrowind, whom you can speak to,just be carefull, because some of them are evil, and will attempt to kill you if you give them the chance.

There are several thousand different items, such as armor, swords, shields, spell books, hammers, axes, etc. And depending on the skills you choose at the beggining of the game, you will be good at using different weapons and spells.

The combat system is poorly develoved, you can swing a sword at a creature about 10-20 times before you actually hit it,which gets incredibly frustrating.

The world of morrowing is absolutely huge, and although it has little frame-rate problems,it is presented poorly with bad graphics, which is a shame, because it's a great place to explore.

The sound for this game is probably the worst part,I found it to be quite terrible.Although the music fits the atmosphere, the sound of your sword swinging, and the sound of getting hit or hitting someone tends to occur too late, which is this games downfall.

Assuming you can play past the sound and graphics, you'll be in for probably the biggest adventure of your gaming life, and this game never ceases to be active.Even after you beat the main quest, you can play hundreds of side quests which will keep you active, and make you crave more.

This game only costs $10 now,so it's relitively cheap, not to mention incredibly worth it!

This game is incredible......It's a must buy for just about any kind of gamer.
