Some really cool features make this game stand out versus other FPS, but lack of depth still hold this game back.
This was one of the first few games I went out and picked up for my PS3 after I heard some people at work talking it up - I'm normally hesitant to get FPS but i figured I had a few for PS2 that I liked and this might be the one.
First - there are some really unique features in this game which make it stand out against other FPS like the use of the tentacles, etc. I thought these aspects were really fun.
The war levels were also really well done and the game is surrounded by a dark, twisted world that is really cool to be involved in.
After 10 or so hours in - tentancles and all, the game gets boring. I don't want to say its the FPS flaw that after a while no matter what you are doomed in doing the same things over and over, but it did get repetitcious and becam a bit of a chore to finish up.
If you want a unique FPS and love FPS this is it, if you are casual FPS fan or they arnt really ur things - I'd pass.
