PC gamer so never played first one but this one is a damn fun game!
I have not played the coop yet so this is just the single player part since I just finished it.
Graphics - Its cell shaded so some will love it, some will hate it. Me I thought most of them were quite good (better looking than Borderlands to me) There were a few times it looked weak but for the most part it fit the game and I almost forgot it was even cell shaded.
Game play - controls seemed quite good and responsive, shooting was better than average for game brought over from the console world. Biggest problem I had was getting one of the arms to slash a certain way it needed a few times but it was no deal breaker and could have been me just sucking at that one move!
Sound and Story - Thought the sound was quite good in the game and found the story much better and darker than most SP games these days (looking at you CoD etc...)
All in all I think the game was great but a little short. I did just about everything I could find to do in the game and finished it in about 8 hours playing the hardest setting (Don) I would have given the game a 8.5-9 if it had been longer and that one control was not some what difficult, and from what I have read anyway the coop is not to long but I can not say for myself on that part yet.
In any case if you are a FPS gamer and looking for a nice change from Cod, BF and all their clones you might like this. Having the guns and the 2 arms makes the combat fun and engaging. I say pick it up and give it a try!!
Oh one note, there is no Fov slider which has been a problem for some people. I did not have any trouble myself and I am quite use to the 90+ view we can get in many pc fps games so take that for what its worth and keep it in mind in case you have had problems with fov in the past.
