Nothing compared to original

I waited with high hopes for this game since it was first announced, the original was something new to me, it felt more like a great film than a game. I loved the story and hoped the sequel would carry the story in the same direction... Now let me say I understand this was developed by a different studio, they did what they thought would improve the game.... I must say this game stays very close to the comics and the visual style, but I'm still disappointed. The sense of power that was present in the first has been abandoned in this sequel. Jackie feels much weaker, his demons seem less evil and somewhat tired.the original was dark and creepy, very fun to play, this instalment was not much fun and felt more repetitive than fun. Pulling open doors, slashing power boxes and destroying generators, lame! The darkness powers are more abundant but lack the power of the original... The enemies ate really quite predictable.... Jackie gets shot in the favre close range with a shotgun and the darkness rebuilds him....that'd stupid... Infared of throwing cars, he uses doors for a shield? lol.... Overall this game is garbage compared to the first.
