Escape from Butcher Bay joins Spider-Man 2 as one of the few movie license games actually worth playing. Though it appears to be a first-person-shooter, players will spend long stretches wandering the halls of Butcher Bay with nothing more than their fists or a knife for defense. Herein lies Riddick's main draw: a mixture of strong stealth and shooting action that manages to find a perfect balance. The game also sports near flawless graphics and sound, but the short playtime and lack of any sort of multiplayer support hurt replayability. You don't need to be a fan of the sci-fi movie series to enjoy Riddick, but you may want to check out Vin Diesel's opus after experiencing this game.
