The story is just top-notch, mixing history and fantasy quite splendidly. Kudos to Jane Jensen! This game is spectacular

The acting is occasionally a little hammy but then again there is some great acting too. The puzzles are just right for a gamer like me. I'm happy to say I've only used one spoiler so far for the Beast Within and that was near the start of the game when I didn't really know how to play. Yes, the puzzles can occasionally be frustrating in this one. But the solutions make sense. The story is just top-notch, mixing history and fantasy quite splendidly. Kudos to Jane Jensen! This game is really quite epic, imo. If you haven't played it yet, you are really missing out. When I first started playing Beast Within, I missed the voice actor from Sins of the Father. However, the full-motion replacement did a good job and even impressed me in some scenes. I doubt they will ever be able to convert these old FMV games into high definition. But it sure would be nice! That said, PLAY THIS GAME!
