Now why did this little "Gem" fall through the cracks?

I don't believe it received the marketing it deserved, which is unfortunate, because it would not have reached the numbers as it should have, and a lot of RPG fans will have missed out on the fun of this little number! The Bard's Tale plays very much like the Baldur's Gate series, albeit non-co-operative, which is unfortunate as that would have really added a dimension to this game. The summons abilities are unique and well conceived.

The dialogue was some of the best farcical work that I have experienced in a RPG, and it made this game the piece of work that it is!

Completely delightful and memorable! Gives you back that "Aaaahhh"...feeling that you sometimes need in a video game!

  Great at the beginning but it does get worse
