Boring.... Boring... Boring
The graphics are shoddy at best, the engine has bad mechanics, and once you've shot down your first boss, you have successfully killed everything in the game once.
Explosions in this game are marred by blocks that are lightly colored rather than an attempt at something that resembles flames. There are multiple cut-scenes that don't even make sense or follow a real story. As for the story, you are never really sucked in to it. I had more info on the characters by reading the instruction manual, which seemed to describe interesting and quirky people that were nothing like their in-game counterparts.
I paid $1 to rent this game and I'm thinking of asking for a refund of my gas I used to get it there and back.
I thought we had gotten the industry past games made solely on cashing in on the name of a summer blockbuster but this proves that theory wrong. I haven't seen the movie but, I might not after playing this game. I should have stopped right there but, haven't reached the minimum character count.
So in closing I would completely advise against owning this game and renting it for longer than a day.
