Tekken is still the best fighting game out there.
Tekken 6 continues on the path of total awesomeness we are already accustomed to, with yet a brilliant fighting game.
In terms of graphics the games looks great. the characters are well designed, and well proportioned, while the stages feel and look alive, even if some are a bit to crowded with details.
The sounds are good, even if there is nothing special worth mentioning. The characters we have grown accustomed to are still, with several new fighter joining the impressive and varied rooster.
The fighting system is complex and rich in diversity, yet any player can easily learn it. Controls are smooth and easy to master. The moves at your disposal offer variety in every fight while some impressive and well designed throws definitely delight you. Various fighting styles make almost each character original and fun to play, while the changing tactics required by a combination of fighter will keep the game-play fresh for a long while.
The story mode offers a great amount of fun "beat'em up" and item collecting. The story itself is rather boring and you might soon forget that between the hundreds of collected items some text and images tell a story. Customization is impressive and allow you to personalize your characters to you liking. In story mode you get various bonuses from these items, but in most cases(for some characters) the best item built will make you look like a walking "rainbow-pony-glitter bag". Of course if you neglect the bonuses, you can make you characters look really, really bad-a**.
It is worth to mention that this game has huge loading times that might scare you off, but if you want a mature and well designed fighting game, Tekken 6 is the one for you.
