How to (almost) completely destroy what used to be a great fighting game ...

User Rating: 5.5 | Tekken 6 PS3
If you're expecting a bigger and better version after Tekken 5: DR, stay away from this game! Tekken 6 is full of 'minor' flaws that will make you wanna cry for spending money with this game after 2 or 3 hours playing it.

The loading times are way too big, classic arcade/story mode is gone (if you want to 'enjoy' the game, you must play through stupid Scenario Campaign mode) and online is just not good enough.

Did you enjoy smashing buttons, kicking opponents asses and getting to the end of the game to watch your favorite Tekken character's ending movie? Well, bad news for you: that's gone here. You won't find the classic arcade/story mode in Tekken 6. Unless you go to boring Scenario Campaign, unlock the character you want to beat the game with, go to the Arena, 'watch' some stupid introduction story in a comic book style 'animation', beat a few opponents and finally get to watch the ending for that character - most of the time you'll be disappointed, trust me - there's no way of experiencing something close to previous Tekken titles. The game simply FORCES you to play Scenario Campaign, a so-so 1P mode one could call an upgraded Tekken Force mode from Tekken 3.

Online is also frustating: you will soon realise it's not fast or fun at all to battle friends or random players through the PSN/Live.

If even after reading this review you decide you'll give it a try, be ready to face 20~30sec loading times EACH DAMN TIME you loose to Azazel - no the loading times don't get that much better even after installing the game to the PS3 HDD. Good luck trying to enjoy what can possibly be considered the worst Tekken experience since Tekken 2.
