A classic game,and the best PSone beat ém up game!
Here is three example's how did Tekken 2 so great it was:
1]The different fighting arenas, my favourite one for example: The classic "ying yang" roof, (Jack 2's arena, if I remember correct) -where you fight on a skyscraper at the night and see the city down there, with all this lights, is just one example of the wonderful graphic the PS1 could give us. All those different fighting ground's was so different and beutiful, and didn't feel the same at all. When I started to play, somethimes I forgot to fight because I just looked at the background... In the first Tekken, the arenas was nothing specially to hurray for, it was "just the gameplay" who was great.
2]Tekken 2's music is MAGIC, and Namco had greatly fit in all this excellent music to all those different fighting places excellent, it totally fits in together!
3]The movements on the character's was even more better than Tekken 1, and some faster, the best thing was that you could now also do much more different combos.
I know that most of the peoples sees Tekken 3 like the best Tekken game in the serie's to PS1, but not me! Sure, the graphic in Tekken 3 is much more beutiful than Tekken 2, but that's the only thing how is much better.
Tekken 2 is a huge step from the first Tekken, on all ways (-graphic, combos, charcters, mucic, voices - you name it.) While Tekken 3 is just a huge step from Tekken 2 in the graphic, that's all.
So, for me, it's no talk about it...
Tekken 2 is for me the best Tekken game you can find to the classic PS1! -And also, the best beat ém up game at all you can find to PS1!
