Tekken 2 is the sequal to one of the first 3D fighting games ever, Tekken. Tekken was one of the first 3D fighters ever (Virtua Fighter, and Battle Arena Toshinden can out before it) and certainly was perfect. Tekken 2 changed that, by adding tons of combos, beefing up the graphics, and adding an actual story, Tekken 2 was the 3D fighter to buy! Graphics: In 1996 Tekken 2's graphics were some of the best at that time. Of course these days graphics like these wouldn't ever pass. Gameplay: Tekken 2's gameplay is what makes it so great. It added a ton of combos for each character and a ton of ways to fight. Want to button mash? Go ahead. Want to learn how to actually play? Go ahead. Tekken 2 was made so that beginners could have fun and so that experts could hone their skills. Sound: Back in 1996 there was no voice acting in games so there was only the sounds of the character being hit and hiting but it made due. Buy/Rent: If you picked up Tekken 5 then make sure to go to arcade classics and check this one out. If for some reason you want to full game, you can probably pick it up for around $10.
