I LOVE THIS GAME!!!

ok the first time i played this game was when i was 6 at my local Chuck E Cheeses i spent the majority of my tokens playing this amazing game from 1989. The gameplay is very basic, A to jump, X to attack, A then X to jump attack and A and X at the same time to do a special attack, It is super fun but now i realize the original developers of the game designed it so that you would have fun kickin the crap out of all the colored ninjas then have a hell of a time beating the bosses (unless you are good) so for me as a 6 year old playing my first video game i was pretty bad so i would waste $10 of my parents money to beat the game and feel good that i finally did it. Single player in this game is fun because you do not have to worry about how many lives you have and can just have fun locally with your friends, there is also co-op play which enables you and up to three friends to battle the game out, but you do have to worry about how you use you 19 lives, in conclusion TMNT 1989 is a very addictive 2d side scroller beat em up game that will make you feel good reliving old childhood memories (my personal experience)
