The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are back, thanks to the new CGI movie, a new game and the release of this old school classic arcade beat 'em up from 1989. TMNT 1989 Arcade is a very enjoyable, classic arcade game that has 4 player co-op and is easily worth the small price you pay for it.

In the game, you can select one of the four turtles and use their attacks to save April and stop Shredder once and for all. Each turtle has their own unique weapon, but all have the same controls: jump, attack and move. That's it. It's very simplistic and easy to pick up and play, but some gamers may feel that the two button gameplay is too outdated for modern audiences. The game is very short and can be easily beated solo in under 2 hours, but the online multiplayer tough achievement points give the game more bang for your buck. The visuals and sound effects could have used upgrading, but work to keep the game feeling old-school.

Overall, the game is fun, it's cheep and it has the classic theme song from the late 80's TV show. What more could you want?

Gameplay: Classic beat 'em up gameplay, with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and four player co-op. What more could you ask for?

Graphics: Outdated, but keep the game's classic arcade feel.

Sound: Decent, but that theme song still rocks!

Value: At 400 M$ points, there is no good reason why not to buy this game.

Final Thoughts: Turtles on the Half Shell. Turtle power!
