Great Throwback to the Old School Turtles Games

This isn't a great game, by any means, but it's certainly a fun one. The story is negligible, at best, but the game play is reminiscent of the old Turtles games that many of us grew up on in the 90's. The animation pulls from the new-ish cartoon and has the same look and feel that an anime version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would have.

The controls are simple to pick up, the game takes a handful of hours to complete, at best, and the replay ability is low. I did have a great time playing it and remembering what it was like to play this type of game way back in the day.

I'd say this is a rental, at best, but if you like the franchise and want to play it, the price might be just right to grab it. I gave the game a high score because I really enjoyed playing it, even if it wasn't a challenge or even that hard, it was fun, and sometimes that's enough to make a mediocre game a good one.
