One of the best football games ever made
Right then, let's get going, shall we? First and foremost, let's start with the graphics.
-GRAPHICS-
They are rather simple and not as advanced as the Madden games that we have now, but that doesn't mean that they are bad. This is also I believe the first football game to have actual team logos in it, which are displayed nicely on the team select screen. The football players are rather small but they are detailed enough that you will be able to tell who is on your team and who isn't. They are a tad glitchy at times however, as there are times that a football player will slightly flicker or become half invisible. There are also cut scenes in the game that are pretty impressive for it's time, especially the half time intermissions.

-GAMEPLAY-
There are enough modes here to keep you busy for quite sometime, the mode that I play the most is Season mode, you can take control of your favorite football team and play through a regular season with them and attempt to make it to the Super Bowl!

-CONTROLS-
This is by far the best part of the whole game, the controls are rather simple and gamer friendly. They are pretty responsive and are easy to learn, I have no real complaints about this section.

-SOUND-
The game only has a few tracks, but all of them are rather good. The sound effects are very nice also, there are digitized voice overs in the game that sound pretty crisp and clear for the most part.

-Summary-
I'm not a huge fan of football games nor of the sport itself but this game was loads of fun for me, I enjoyed the season mode and the simplistic gameplay style that was as easy as just picking up a controller and pressing a few buttons. It has been 10+ years since this game has came out and it still very fun to play. The only flaw that I can honestly think of mentioning is the light graphic glitching, but even that isn't unbearable.
