I can't tell you how many times I walked past this great game while in Best Buy searching for a new game for my PSP. That was a huge mistake on my part. I've always been a fan of the Syphon Filter series on the PlayStation and PS2, but they've always been frustrating to play because they were always ridiculously hard. Don't get me wrong I love a challenge, but I like a fighting chance to conquer that challenge; however, I must say this PSP version of Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror was entertaining and the difficulty levels were just right as well. I was locked into game play for hours until I finished the game. Unlike you, my fellow gamers, I'm unable to play the game straight through for hours because of work and everything else, but when I had free time it was spent moving through the levels of this game. The storyline, although not a great one, keeps you drawn into the game making you want to find out what's going to happen next. It combines tactical weapons and other military gear and your tactical mindset to figure out the best course of action or you can deliver head shots which ever's easier for you. I chose option one; I guess you can say it was my Army mindset coming back into play after being out of the service for four years. This is a re-playable game because it's fun enough that you'll want to go through again for speed or trying to find what you missed your first time through. I beat this game and immediately went to the store and bought Logan's Shadow. The PSP system gets props for breathing life into the Syphon Filter series and giving it a real chance unlike the major console systems. It's old, but pick it up anyway. You won't be disappointed.
