Looking at both chapters as one considering Syberia II is a direct continuation of the first, it's a well-made game whose enjoyment directly hinges on the emotional investment you make with our heroine Kate Walker. A P&C adventure at heart, the genre's staple pre-rendered graphics are particularly gorgeous with any one scene getting the care of fine art.

The second game seemed slightly short - I steamed through in 10 hours - but the budget price (certainly now) helps offset the less than expected play through. And like most games of it's ilk, some of the puzzles are illogical but a little patience and unorthodox thinking should get you past the rough spots.

Overall, if you're a fan of this genre, I would say both of these games are not to be missed especailly considering the near death of this genre.
