To finish off 2022 in terms of video games, I decided that it was finally time to cap off my long history of playing what is arguably the greatest fighting game ever made so far, arguably the greatest video game available on the Nintendo Switch so far, and even one of the greatest video games ever made, so far! What started in 1999 as a little side project on the N64, has now morphed into what might possibly be the greatest love letter to video games ever made; especially as far as Nintendo is concerned! When this video game promised that everyone would be here, they set themselves a bar that had never been attempted before in video game history; to gather together one of the biggest set of playable characters onto one single package, collect 1513 unique individual spirits to collect, 615 unique fights in Adventure Mode, 84 different routes in Classic Mode, and 124 different panels to clear! And not only that, but it contains some of the best graphics, music, sound, control, and difficulty choices ever available on a Nintendo game, or any other! Nintendo delivered all of that, and truly made good on the promise that this IS the ultimate "Super Smash Bros. Ultimate" video game! A game that is easy to learn, difficult to master, but truly worth it in terms of how satisfying it is, to be able to put together a spirit team that can finally beat those difficult Legend spirits! Perhaps it's only fitting that I started off 2022 by reviewing a fighting video game, and I'm now ending it with one. It will be interesting to see what 2023 will bring; but for the time being, if you haven't checked out this game yet; do so now, and treat yourself to the most ultimate video game experience available, so far! I highly recommend it! Enough said, true believers!
