Yes, this is a game that can finally put some wear on that Wii Classic Controller of yours!

Super Mario RPG is the first RPG based off the Mario franchise as well as one of the first Mario games to be developed outside of Nintendo. The game was developed by the then RPG stronghold Square (now Square-Enix). The adventure has Mario teaming up with Peach, newcomers Geno and Mallow, and even arch-nemesis Bowser to stop Smithy from creating monsters that could destroy the Mushroom Kingdom. For a SNES game, there is quite amount of depth to be had here. You have multiple stats (much more than in the Paper Mario games), as well as special abilites that you can use to wreck more havac. Items can also be equipped to enhance a character's stats. The graphics and sounds really pushed the SNES to its limit when the game was released in 1996. Unfortunately, the game has shown some wear overtime. Of particular note is the isometric view, which can make jumping from platform to platform a bit frustrating later on in the game. The game is fairly long, over 20 hours if you do the extra stuff. This is a great deal for the 800 Wii points you spend on it. I'm glad that Nintendo did not overprice this game like they do to some other VC games.
