Just got my Switch for Christmas and have played 30 hours and beat the game.
I've been playing Mario games since Sunshine (I was too young when 64 came out.) and Mario Odyssey goes right up there as a masterpiece. It's much more enjoyable then even Galaxy 2!
Being able to go at your own pace and explore the endless jungle of platforming is one of the best feelings while playing this game.
When I heard about Odyssey I prayed it would be as good as the last 3D Mario's (not counting 3D Land or 3D World) and my God did it deliver. Nintendo is back on top.
