Old school gaming at its best, just don't expect the non-linear game play of SoTN, this is more of a action/platformer.

Castlevania IV is a must own for retro game fans. Just a fair warning for those use to Castlevania games like SoTN or the GBA/DS games, this is a linear game, and there are no RPG elements. The graphics hold up pretty well, for a 2D game over 10 years old. While the game is mostly action, it almost plays like a platformer, jumping from ledge to ledge, and one wrong step leads to death. This was one of the best games to grace the SuperNES, and for anyone like myself who played this back in the day will no doubt drop the 800 VC points. For the newer gaming generation, you might be a bit disappointed if you are used to the new Castlevania, but I still suggest you give this a chance.
