This is the first of many Bomberman games released for the SNES. And this ranks as one of the best. The game was unique, had great graphics, very catchy music, and was loads of fun to play. The graphics were simple and colorful, and the stages looked superb. The game has some of the best music I've ever heard in a video game before. My favorite music was the one heard in World 1. Normal Mode had you go through 6 different worlds, with each world containing 8 levels. The last level would always be the boss battle. Each level was fun and different from the last. And the boss battles were just as fun. But the highlight of Super Bomberman is the Battle Mode. 4 "bombermen" would face each other in a head-to-head-to-head-to-head battle. The object was to kill your opponent using bombs. And the more friends you had playing at once, the better. Super Bomberman is one of those classic party games that everyone should play.
