Graphically the game is about average, has some good smooth graphics.

This game is probably a better rental than it is a game to purchase - but not many video stores will carry this anymore.

My biggest problem with this game is the difficulty. I was playing a 2 player game on the regular setting and we won nearly every single match only allowing the opponents a few points...however, when we bumped up the difficulty we couldn't win a single one. There is a huge difference in difficulty and the higher setting is near impossible....everything is returned with ease where as you struggle to even make contact and send the ball forward anymore.

The gameplay is pretty solid and offers you a few different ways to hit the ball and send it back over the net, nothing astonishing here though....bump, set, spike over and over, and usually you can hit any buttin you want on the bump and it hardly makes a noticable difference.

There is a completley worthless mode where you can roam around in the house and try to zoom in on magazine covers of computer generated girls......enough said.

Overall, this game doesn't really have a long lasting value because it is either too easy, or too hard, but the game is at least a good foundation for future installments and is a lot of fun with a buddy.
