This is the game that got me into RPG's, it's compelling story and great characters pulled me along at a great pace.
To be fair, I never finished the game, I couldn't for some reason.... I got to the last battle scene and didn't want to complete it.
Storyline:
The storyline is divided into 4 groups, your journy with Hugo, Chris, Gendoe and Thomas... the latter being an optional storline, but one well worth the time.
Graphics:
Easy on the eyes and well-done in my opinion
Sound:
I loved the music to this game, it is emotional and well placed and doesn't get annoying after hearing it for awhile.
Gameplay:
Although i'm not a fan of random battles, the battle system was easy to understand and worked very well! I enjoyed the use of combos between members, and the differnt ones you could employ.
Negatives:
I suppose this is true for all RPG's, but moving all over the map and trying to find the 108 stars was annoying at times, and there was one I was unable to get....even the walkthroughs couldn't help me there.
Positives:
The game has alot of depth, and the bonus Thomas chapter was fun to complete... as were the few side quests you could pick up along the way. The bonus things you can find and get enjoyment out of also make running around the map a bit more fun, as does playing the market. :)
Overall:
Great game, worth buying!
