it was good at the time, but after playing it again for the first time since 1995, it really does show its age.

OK the first 3d racer on home consoles is now 11 years old, is severely showing its age, and just does not hold up after all this time, unlike other snes games such as super mario world.

The novelty aspect of 3d racing did hide the sketchy controls and graphics back in 1994, but with the recent release of the xbox360 these early 3d games struggle to impress or even entertain nowadays.

Kids should play this to see how lucky they are with todays technology, but a history lesson is about all that is here. This game certainly does not have the playability of titles such as starfox
