Streets of Rage 2 is one bad ass beatem up. Argueably the best of the 3.

Streets of Rage 2 is in my opinion, the second best sor game of the phenominal series. Sor 2 is a bit easy but with the mania cheat its quite challenging. sor2 has great music in it and its very addictive. In sor2 you go around beating up punk from "the syndicate" lead by the all dreaded Mr. X. Theres 8 rounds in sor2 and there all very fun while being backed up with as i said before.........great music. with a comfortable selection of moves per characters that you can be, and some sweet sound effects, the game is pretty action packed and makes you fel like your really kicking ass at times. theres also a two player mode a co-op mode and a duel mode for a friend and yourself to play. 2 player is the best way to play :-). but on the downside, the gameplay is a bit slow when compared to Streets of Rage 3. In SoR2, you cant run and you punch slow when doing your standard 5 hit combo. all in all sor2 is a MUST have for the Sega Genesis. its a classic and there needs to be an sor4 sometime in this world of ours.
