Streets of Rage was amazing in 1991. But this is 2007, and times have changed.

Streets of Rage was the Sega Genesis answear to the SNES Final Fight, in retrospect, this game was fantasic for its time. But this is 2007, things have changed. The graphics are extremely outdated, althrough there still pretty decent. The background music is still good through (can music get outdated? Pink Floyd forever). The gameplay gets repeative using the same moves over and over again. Even through theirs 3 different characters, they all feel the same only with different stats.
While some Genesis games can pass the test of time, this one just didn't make the cut. Especially for the fact that theres a Streets of Rage 2 and Streets of Rage 3 on the Genesis / Megadrive.
