It looks good, and if you're patient, I'm sure you will become a pro, but lack of game modes and extreme difficulty make this game hard to play after a few hours.
I grew up playing Street Fighter. We would battle it out or compete to see you could finish the arcade mode the quickest. But, Mortal Kombat, Killer Instinct, and other genres made Street Fighter a once in a while game" Well, may years later, and Street Fighter IV holds that same title for me. I got it used for 8$ and was excited to see some of my favs again. The first couple of hours spent in training and vs mode were fun. Even my first time thru arcade mode was fun, but it soon became apparent there is nothing more to this game. Besides unlocking a few characters. I guess I was spoiled by Mortal Kombat, but Street Fighter IV couldn't hold Scorpions jockstrap. The most frustrating thing to me is the difficulty. IT"S INSANELY HARD, and each character only has a few moves, while pulling off big combos requires more muscle memory than just about any game I've ever played. If Street Fighter gave me more to play for, maybe I would of been more inspired to get better.
