Classic game keeps coming back for more

I have played this game numerous times and found it to be a joy each time I've picked up the controller. Although there have been plenty of times I've gotten frustrated at the difficulty of some fighters, overall the experience has been an enjoyable one. The graphics were good considering they were coming from the arcade to the SNES and the sounds were just as cheezy and enjoyable as the arcade version. I always loved the elephants from the India stage making their noises as you would win the fight. It was also always fun to see the background characters on the various stages do their exciting dances during the round and speed up as things started to come down to the wire. The later installments added on to the challenge, but the original version will always be a classic and will always be a go-to when I have nothing better to play or need a moment to bask in some nostalgia.Should you get this game?I would say yes, if you can still find it. It is a great addition to any game collector's library and if nothing else, you can use it to brag about how hardcore you are with your collectionThis one get's Dan's seal of approval
