As a kid growing up my cousins introduced me to street fighter 2. we would play it along with turbo when it came out. finally super sf2 came out and we thought it couldn't be topped. then alpha came out with amazing graphics and we thought it couldn't be done on the snes...but iwas and it had all the amazaing characters that i had grown up with. Sure it was missing a few oldies like e.honda and dhashlim wasn't the same as the old editions but the game still shined a lot moee than the old sf2. Alpha 2 had mroe move sets and special moves and had an amazing intro sequence which couldn't be topped. The levels were richer in color and the actual characters themselves had a new look. you could finally preview a character while you chose them and you could preview stages while you selected them by seeing a little picture. The music was amazing but got cut of. If there was any problem in this game it was the sound. The sound and animations got totally cut of when you got into the game. When you started a match which would be fairly quickly you would hear the "ROUND 1 FIGHT" and then all the backround would freeze up for about 2 seconds and the music would just freeze. It didn't even say loading but oh it was. Besides this the game was amazing. Some people didn't like the feel to the new alpha 2 but many like myself found it to have a place in our gaming hearts.
