I wasn't looking for any game in particular but when this hit the $20 shelf I couldn't help but instantly fall in love. The game opened up perfectly although the controls were a little difficult to pick up from the get go it quickly became second nature and the game sprinted off from there. I love the character development routine and finding new survivors is another excellent option. If I had realized this game was this good I would have paid full price when it first came out and possibly even pre-ordered this one just to ensure I had the ability to play this epic survival game. Admittedly so it does kind of come to a grind after you establish a base but with imagination you can make it into a game worth multiple plays.
