With the constant evolution of RTS games out there, somehow Starcraft 2 seems to feel like it has not evolved at all.

I loved the original Starcraft. A lot.

So I should really love Starcraft 2. Because it is the same game I used to play but this time, it's in 1920 x 1080 with surround sound.

Ok, so there's a couple of new units that make it interesting but this fun only impresses for a short time. The Single Player Campaign is well written and has a great retro feel with a classic style interfacing system during mission selections, all the way up to research and development for your upgrades and purchasing of unit abilities.

Even though this Single Player stuff is sort of cool, it still just feels like it's a bit behind the times.

Multi Player is, well.. it's just exactly the same Starcraft experience as before. The only reason I can see this to happen is the overwhelming fan base that just doesn't want anything to change. Blizzard have done an excellent job to keep these original Starcraft super fans happy but if you're looking for an RTS game that has burst into the scene like a romance explosion nuke, then don't look here.

Starcraft 2 is Starcraft 1 with better graphics and only a small handful of units, updates, options and abilities. All in hi-res semi top down 2d slash un-rotatable 3d.

Starcraft 1 fans rejoice. This one is for you.
